The client engaged us to project manage the renovation of their flat in a conservation area in Belsize Park. The property benefitted from lovely light, space and features, but suffered from some practical challenges including a water supply from an old tank, and large single glazed windows. The aim was to resolve these, and take the opportunity to update the finishes and improve the use of space throughout
The property has lots of traditional features, while the client had a great collection of modern artwork and was drawn to more industrial elements – including beautiful dark bronze taps and hardware. We drew these styles together by introducing new colours, and adding tactile finishes, light fittings with soft natural wood and luxurious window coverings.
