2018 Highlights so far

By September 7, 2018October 2nd, 2019Events and News

As we head into to the Autumn, we’re taking a moment to reflect on some of the highlights of the year so far.

Fabulous Finished projects

We’ve recently finished some brilliant projects:

West Hampstead NW6

Full redesign, reconfiguration and project management of a large Victorian conversion, previously untouched since the 1970s.

We have lots to be proud of here – there are beautiful renovated ceiling mouldings and bespoke, hand-painted fitted joinery in the lounge, a gorgeous kitchen with blue doors – and a clever staircase design. By changing the shape of the stairs, we have unlocked loads of precious space and transformed the ‘flow’ of the whole space. See more in the full project gallery.

Delicious details

Kensington SW7

Uncovering a hidden original Victorian ceiling, complete with delicate mouldings and beautiful central rose at this Kensington home, was a delight. Restoring it to its former glory (and unlocking over 50cm of hidden ceiling height) has really lifted the space.

Elsewhere, the bathroom renovation in this little vault space is a great use of premium real estate while also feeling luxurious, and the vibrant bannisters are just what our client wanted!

Highbury N5

This teenage bedroom is all about the details. The lovely curtains by Rascal & Roses, fitted display shelves, and decorative handles on all the storage make for a beautiful, personal space. See more of this house in the project gallery.

Technical triumphs

We love a technical challenge – and we’ve had plenty!

Earls Court SW5

At this live project in Earl’s Court, we’ve entirely re-modelled the inside space. We worked closely with Structural Engineers Conisbee and our excellent building contractors to solve the complex structural challenge of a new stairway, multi-level floors and opened up walls. With new glazing throughout including a huge rooflight, and lots of precise architectural details, the end result is looking set to be stunning.  We worked closely w 4orm architects and Assent Building Control to perfect the many regulatory details.

Despite our client being based full time in SE Asia, the communication and decision-making process has worked effortlessly.
